CO WEEKLY

The Orlando Project is a missions and training project for college students. The purpose of the project is to help students grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to teach them how to share the good news of Christ with others. It is also designed to help build responsibility and dependability in the lives of the students. Students work jobs in the community to earn money for the summer and reach out to those with whom they work. Evening and weekends are devoted to growth opportunities such as discipleship groups, Bible study, evangelism, and worship. More information

Summers Leader Overview:

As a leader on the Orlando Project, you will be serving in a leadership internship position this summer. This is a tremendous opportunity for personal growth and leadership opportunity for you. We believe it will help you know Christ at a deeper level and equip you to make Christ known. You will be asked to give high levels of leadership and to function as a Campus Outreach staff person this summer. We will be entrusting you with important responsibilities and we have full confidence in your ability to handle what is asked of you. Otherwise, you would not have been given this opportunity. Having said all that, this is an opportunity that requires a high level of commitment.

General Expectations

To walk deeply with Christ this summer.

To grow in disciple-making skills.
A servant's heart and a willingness to do whatever is necessary.
A submissive heart to the Campus Outreach staff and to the policies of the Orlando Project.
To work to help accomplish the goals and objectives of the Orlando Project.
To help cultivate and grow our relationships with our partners in Orlando (Church, hotel, employers).

Fundraising Plans

Our desire is for you to be fully funded and excited about serving the students and growing personally before arriving to Orlando. Because of this, we will provide biblical and practical training and weekly accountability in order for you to reach your fundraising goals. We will begin this process in late January. Details on dates and training location TBD.
