THE GREATNESS OF GOD…

Jeremiah 10:6 - “There is none like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might.”

The University of Illinois at Chicago and Roosevelt University has over 33,000 students from so many different faiths, backgrounds and walks of life. Our team has been overwhelmed with how God has met these students exactly where they are. This semester, we had the privilege of getting to know students from all corners of the campus and share the good news of the Gospel. In God’s goodness we saw these students grow in their understanding of who Jesus is, gain a clarity surrounding how God’s love can change their lives radically and we even saw students make the ultimate decision to give their lives to Jesus. We have truly seen a glimpse of the greatness of God!

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

The harvest is truly plentiful at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Roosevelt University, and the Lord has sent our team out as laborers to minister to the harvest. Here is what the Lord has done through our team this semester:

Fall 2022 our team has:

• 175 intentionally evangelized by the ministry this semester

• 16 Students discipled in the ministry this semester

• 52 Professions of faith to date

This New Year’s Conference, we are greatly depending upon God to move. This year we have 63 students attending NYC. There is a great OPPORTUNITY– more than seventy five percent of our students attending do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

This results in two great NEEDS. First, the total cost for students to travel and attend the conference is $250 and as you can imagine, not all students can afford this. To ensure every student has an opportunity to attend the New Year's Conference, we are asking you to sponsor at least one student. Please consider partnering with us as we work to ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn more about what it means to follow Christ. Second, we are praying every day at 3:12PM for God to work in the hearts of our students. Would you commit to praying (Acts 26:18) for Campus Outreach Chicago every day during the New Years Conference 2022 from December 28th - 31st?
