CCP 2023 | Zambia 🇿🇲
In the mid-90s, the government declared Zambia a Christian nation. Although governments can change laws, only the Lord changes hearts. Thousands of churches are open on Sundays, yet the reality is many Zambians are Christian by name alone. With Lusaka being the epicenter of higher education, the CCP team coming to Zambia will play a critical role in helping launch Campus Outreach and connecting these students to healthy gospel-centered churches as they come to a clear understanding of saving faith and grow as disciples. Also, with Zambia being surrounded by eight countries and knocking on the 10/40 window where millions of Africans have never heard the gospel, the potential impact of this CCP is vast! We are convinced the students the CCP will be reaching are the future of missions in Africa, but first, these students need to get introduced to Jesus themselves.

Why a Cross-Cultural Project (CCP)?
Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. In Zambia, interest in spirituality and awareness of Christianity are high. This provides a great opportunity to build relationships and share the Gospel with students who are hungry for the Truth.
What will we do?
Our team will be spending time building relationships on the campus in hopes of sharing the good news of Christ as well as our lives with students. We will also be partnering with the local Campus Outreach ministry and a local church and encouraging local students to come with us to church and be involved in that local fellowship.
Who is going?
Fifteen distinguished students representing diverse campuses across the country have been chosen to embark on an exciting journey led by Tony Dentman and Elena Lopez.
Where will it be?
We will serve alongside the local Campus Outreach ministry on a college campus in Lusaka, Zambia.
When is the trip?
The trip will be from mid-May to end of June!
Our “Financial support” goal?
In order to support their upcoming ministry journey, our team is seeking assistance from individuals, Churches, and organizations in the form of financial investments totaling $80,000. This investment will help ensure that all associated expenses are adequately covered during this remarkable mission trip.
