Application

The application process:

First, you will submit an application by the deadline listed on the website. After we review the applications, you will be contacted for an interview with our team, conducted either in person or by Zoom (depending on where you live). We will then contact you about our application decision, usually within 2 weeks of the interview.

Applicants should think of the interviews as conversations, in which we try to determine both if you would be a good fit for the program and if the program would be a good place for you. We ask that applicants spend time in prayer about the decision, as our committee also spends time praying for guidance in their decisions.

Upon acceptance, we will begin our onboarding process and support raising.

Deadlines:

Early Application Deadline: April 1 (notification by April 15)

Final Application Deadline: May 1 (notification by May 15)

After all the materials are turned in an applicant will be notified of a decision within 2-3 weeks.

Costs and details:

Each fellow is expected to raise $1500-$2500/month for two years. This includes free housing, seminary classes, ministry expenses, and additional program costs.

Fellows will be equipped to raise 100% of financial support through the tax-deductible gifts of friends and loved ones.

The Chicago Fellows Program will provide housing near the campus at no cost and living expenses are further offset by the wages the Fellows earn as interns. Fellows are responsible for their own car and health insurance. Cost covers seminary classes, qualified ministry expenses, and program material and cost.
